About the Author

Monsignor David L. Toups was ordained a priest in 1997 for the Diocese of St. Petersburg; and since 2012, he has served as the Rector/President of St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach, Florida. He has previously served in parish ministry, as a seminary professor and dean, and in the office of the USCCB’s Secretariat of Clergy, Consecrated Life, and Vocations. He is the author of numerous articles, and his doctoral dissertation has been published under the title Reclaiming Our Priestly Character (IPF Publications, 2008).
